Varsity Girls’ Basketball Coach

The Newburg R-II School District is seeking applications for several positions for the 2025-26 school year. Our district has approximately 370 students in grades PreK-12.  We operate on a 4-day school week. 

Newburg is located in South Central Missouri approximately 10 miles west of Rolla on Interstate 44.  It is a small, rural community with an outstanding Ag department and fine arts department.  We place great value on small class sizes throughout our district and benefit from a tremendously caring staff and faculty and a highly supportive school board and community.

  • To create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
  • To establish effective rapport with students.
  • To motivate students to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child, every day.
  • To provide positive feedback and encouragement for students.
  • To facilitate an environment that promotes academic success, social growth, and well-being of all students.
  • To implement a variety of teaching techniques, strategies, materials, and technology to maximize the learning of each child, individually and in group settings.
  • To assess student progress, provide students and parents with specific feedback regarding progress, and use the data to adjust instruction as needed.
  • To perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervising administrators.

Substitute Bus Driver

The Newburg R-II School District is currently taking applications for bus drivers. Applicants must pass a background check, have or qualify for a CDL, Missouri Bus Operators Permit and have an “S” endorsement. Please apply in person at 701 Wolf Pride Drive.  EOE
