The Newburg R-II School District is accepting applications for a high school math teacher for the 2024-25 school year. Our district has approximately 400 students in grades PreK-12. We operate on a 4 day school week. We are located approximately 10 miles west of Rolla. This position shall remain open until filled. Applications may be downloaded on our website: newburg.k12.mo.us.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
- To establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom.
- To motivate students to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child, every day.
- To provide positive feedback and encouragement for students.
- To facilitate an environment that promotes academic success, social growth, and well-being of all students.
- To implement a variety of teaching techniques, strategies, materials, and technology to maximize the learning of each child, individually and in group settings.
- To assess student progress, provide students and parents with specific feedback regarding progress, and use the data to adjust instruction as needed.
- To perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervising administrators..

Full Time Custodian
The Newburg R-II School District is seeking applicants for the position of custodian. The custodial position is a full-time, 250-day/8 hour per day position, and regular duty hours will be afternoon and evenings with daytime hours during the summer. This position includes vacation days, paid health and life benefits, retirement (Public Education Employee Retirement System of Missouri), and personal days. Many other optional benefits are offered.
