PK-12 Principal

The Newburg R-II School District is seeking a PK-12 Principal for the 2021-2022 school year. Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of the PLC process and RTI. Instructional leadership is a priority, being focused on building a positive culture for our staff and students, and good student discipline management are desired. The Principal should have high expectations for instruction and learning. The principal will be the primary leader for discipline and is expected to follow board policy. The principal should be someone who can build positive relationships with students, staff, and community, and communication is a priority. It is imperative the principal can work on an administrative team with the assistant principal and superintendent, leadership experience or volunteer administrative experiences is a benefit.
